The one bad thing about the Argyle is the noise level. Maybe it's those high ceilings, but you can hardly hear yourself think, much less speak.
Service
The service is good.
Value
A tad pricey.
Overall
Great except for the noise.

Food
Good, but not worth the money.
Atmosphere
Very loud and stuffy.
Service
OK service.
Value
What is the big deal at the end of the day? The bill.
Overall
Great bar, but the food is pricey and ordinary.

Food
Superb. The goat cheese salad is fantastic. The Chilean sea bass is out of this world. Whatever drink you have ever had or heard of these bartenders can whip it up.
Atmosphere
If you want a louder more upbeat time, sit up front by the bar. If you want a more quiet private setting, sit in the back. It is like two different restaurants.
Service
This is the only restaurant I have ever given a 10 to. The waitstaff is so attentive they will have a conversation with you and you feel like they are your best friend. I think they have eaten every dish there and drank every type of wine because they know about it all. They are on top of their game.
Value
They have a wine tasting night. OH MY GOD. I believe now it is up to $32 a person and well worth it. You get a 3 course meal of anything you want (besides the lobster) and you get 4 different types of wine from a particular vineyard. If you like it you can have as much as you want. I do not mean small amounts in a glass, I mean full wine glasses and they keep them coming.
Overall
I find it very hard not to give them a 10. The owners/managers should be very proud of this establishment from the waitstaff to the cooks to the bartenders. FABULOUS.

Food
Excellent salads and great steak. The best Martinis around, especially the Green Apple & Watermelon. The desserts are delicious too!
Atmosphere
It is an upscale pub with an awesome bar. Tables are sometimes a little too close.
Service
The staff is excellent. They are always there to clean a plate or ask if there is anything you need.
Value
A little above average prices but definitely worth it.
Overall
They don't take reservations, but you won't mind hanging out at the bar for a drink! You won't be disappointed!

Food
We have only been here for Sunday Brunch (5 or 6 times). The food here is always excellent and delicious. They replenish the chaffing dishes often, plus they have a carving board and shrimp cocktail (both more than fair).
Atmosphere
We have always been lucky enough to get a booth in the front which is part of the bar. Beautiful decor, the wood is very rich looking and is always gleaming. The restaurant is little loud though.
Service
Even though we have only been there for brunch, the staff has always been pleasant, friendly and attentive.
Value
It is an "all-you-can-eat" Brunch for $21.00 which is more than a reasonable value.
Overall
We will continue to take the 40 minute drive for Brunch and are trying to get there for dinner soon. If you don't like to wait you will need reservations for Brunch. If you don't mind waiting you can take a walk around the town and window shop.

Food
The food here is always excellent. Dessert and martinis even better. Special entrees and unique desserts.
Atmosphere
Beautiful decor, a little loud but totally worth it. Everyone is probably oohing and ahhing over the food.
