The entrees were not bad but the salad was so-so. It appeared as though the greens were taken from a bag and not washed, placed on a plate, dressing added...not even refrigerated.
Atmosphere
Quiet but too dark. The table for two was illuminated with only one tea candle.
Service
The only thing that came out quickly was the beverages. The server was courteous but not what I would classify as experienced. The meal was slow in coming to the table. No complaints and we were seated promptly.
Value
I've had worse and I've had better. You get what you pay for, however the overall value at this restaurant was not bad all things considered.
Overall
It was a Sunday evening when reservations would have been advisable but we were squeezed in (that's the nice part about this economy.) All in all it was worth the stop.

Nothing special. Anyone can steam a lobster. Appetizers were not good quality.
Atmosphere
It is not the cleanest. Especially the bathrooms.
Service
Be prepared to be there a very, very long time. We waited forever for a table and even longer for the food! Very inexperienced wait staff.
Value
Not worth the money. You can get much nicer food and atmosphere elsewhere.
Overall
I might go here for a drink or two and listen to live music. I would not eat here again.

Not worth the wait. The she crab soup tasted like wallpaper paste.
Atmosphere
The decor was great, kitchen looked dirty on my way to the filthy, cramped, smelly bathrooms. I can not believe that is acceptable in any way. Boaters in the marina also use the bathrooms to wash sand off of their feet. Gross!
Service
The server was not knowledgeable. He did not know any answers to any of my questions. I then called over another server. She did not know anything either. I wonder if there was ever a training session. Can anyone off the street get a job there?
Value
It was fine for the money. Our bill was reasonable yet other details were very off.

It was great! The clams on the 1/2 shell were so fresh and the She Crab soup is amazing!
Atmosphere
A really fun place. We sat in the back room by the new bar and it felt like we were in Key West. The live music was great too.
Service
The service was good. Our waitress came around often and was very pleasant. She seemed to know her stuff too. The bartenders were great too. A lot of fun and very skilled. I gave an 8 because I hated their Hawaiian shirts (not flattering at all. I don't know who's idea that was, but a bad one!)
Value
I was surprised at how large the portions were. For a seafood restaurant, the prices were moderate. I don't know why this site has it rated 3 $$$. But for good food, great service and a great atmosphere like this, I would have paid double!
Overall
Great food, great service, great view, great music...what more do you need?

Fresh food...many choices. Try the seafood skins and the seafood fra diavlo, but go hungry as the portions are large!
Atmosphere
Great view of the harbor. At the outside bar you will feel like you are on an island vacation, upbeat and fun downstairs but quiet and romantic upstairs...PERFECT!
Service
The staff was attentive and knowledgeable! We always receive great service in the restaurant as well as the bar. Very friendly staff. They always make us feel welcome and important.
Value
Large portions...reasonable prices. Can't complain about that!
Overall
You must try! But make a reservation...it's worth the wait!

Food
Bland appetizers. The fried calamari tasted like something out of the grocery freezer case, as did the spinach dip. Seafood potato skins were also disappointing. Entrees were better but nothing special.
Atmosphere
We sat outside (on the deck overlooking the river) on a beautiful sunny day so the atmosphere was just fine. Alas, it was the best part of the overall experience. Had we been seated inside the restaurant I would definitely rate it lower.
Service
The service was fine and the waitress was very friendly although she might have stopped by a little more often.
Value
The portion size was average but prices were a bit higher than I expected. We didn't feel cheated but did not feel that we received a bargain by any means.
Overall
I might recommend Harbor Crab for a Friday night happy hour or to sip a cocktail on a nice afternoon, but not for the food. We will not be returning to this establishment...there are just too many good waterfront restaurants in this area to settle for mediocre food and high prices.

Not a pro in the place right down to the manager and the owner who does not seem to care about anything.
Value
I can not see spending any money for the food or the atmosphere. The bar crowd is all white trash types and the bartenders and waitresses are very inexperienced and disorganized.
Overall
Yuck, yuck and yuck. Do not waste your time.

Very unattentive. It seemed the waitress would rather hide in back than make sure it was a pleasant experience.
Value
Speaking of money, somehow my debit card was mysteriously overcharged! I just got the statement and remember leaving an $8 tip on a $60 meal. Tip was so low because the food was crappy and the service was horrible. I suspect that someone must have written in a larger tip! I can't wait until they open so I can get my money back!
Overall
It's horrible to charge someone more than they signed for. It makes me want the whole tip back. Did they think I wouldnt notice? And if I did notice, do they think it makes me want to return?

The food was good - very fresh, good flavor and good seasoning. The broiled fish was a bit overcooked.
Atmosphere
There were spiders above the window inside the restaurant, right above our table. Not pleasant.
Service
Our waitress was attentive, but not overly aggressive, and she was very pleasant.
Value
Prices were good for the amount and quality of the food.
Overall
Overall a good experience, with the exception of the spiders.
