If you feel highly successful and enjoy paying top dollar for mediocrity, at best, this is your kind of place.
Atmosphere
Noisy and loud on a weekend. A lot of the crowd appears more interested in the bar than the cuisine.
Service
Good service. The waiter did his best, but apparently management feels a limited number of service personnel is a more profitable business model. He simply had too many tables to attend to so there was a very long lag between visits to our table.
Value
I'm sure there are worse out there which is why I gave it a two. I've dined at much better steakhouses where all aspects were greatly superior and the cost was less.
Overall
Not terrible. Simply doesn't meet expectations.

Food
I must complement Pace’s on the food and the service. I am very upset that after we had a great meal ($350.00) we went outside to our car and had a parking ticket ($30.00). This is very upsetting as when we arrived it was not clear to us that there was a charge for parking. This rule should be displayed at each parking area slot and certainly should be displayed upon arriving at the restaurant. We were not familiar with this at all. I feel that Pace’s should make their guests aware of this upon entering the restaurant. Not everyone is aware of this and certainly the town does not make it obvious. I feel that Pace’s should be responsible for the ticket. This was very disappointing as well as upsetting.

Food
How could they call themselves an upscale steak house? That’s what I asked myself after leaving there last night. The place was over-packed for starters and the food was horrible! I've had better steaks at a diner or the hospital to be honest. I've been to the Ruth’s Chris and anyone who has ever been there would know what an amazing steak tastes like. At this place, steaks came out slightly cold and hard on the outside? The crispy onions where soggy and cold. They told me, “No problem…they would fix it and there were very sorry.” All they did was throw the same ones back into the deep-fryer so now they were dark and burned?
After the meal from hell was all said and done they saw no look of satisfaction on my face after they brought me the bill and didn't return with my change? I was very mad. I planed on leaving a good tip knowing it wasn't the waiter’s fault, but what was that all about? After I asked him for my change his look of disbelief was unmistakable and proceeded to bring me back my money which wasn't the correct amount, sad to say. ($20 instead of $16.60.) In turn I left the twenty he brought me and another $3 dollars instead of $30 I planned on leaving (due to the incorrect amount of change $30 was impossible for me to make up with only $100 and $20 dollar bills in my pocket!)
I hate this place and on a scale from 1 to 10 I give them a 0! Beware of Pace's is all I can say! Save money and make the trip to Ruth’s Chris for a amazing meal and great service for a better price.

Food
Any restaurant which advertises prime on their website, only to serve USDA choice and continues to call itself a steakhouse just has no clue. Don't get me started on the rock lobster tail.
Atmosphere
Actually pretty nice!
Service
Actually excellent

Food
Without a doubt the best steak I have had in NY. Tender, tasty and juicy, cooked to perfection. The lobster was also buttery soft and fresh. Four stars at least.
Atmosphere
Elegant without being intimidating. Tastefully decorated and soothing with plenty of room around the tables.
Service
The staff could not have been more accommodating. Arriving as we did after a very difficult day, we were soothed and catered to. We did not have advance reservations but were treated as long time family or friends. As exhausted as we were, decisions as to what to order were not coming easily. Suggestions were made and served almost before we could realize what had happened, including a sampling of appetizers. Superb.
Value
Admittedly not inexpensive, but considering all of the factors, mood, service and quality of food, I give this a ten. In a world of shabby wannabe fancy restaurants, this one earns its charges. No pretense here, just good food, great service and an experience I can't wait to repeat.
Overall
Pace's is worth a trip from anywhere.

Food
The food was horrible.
Atmosphere
The place looks like it's falling apart at the seams and it smells gross.

Bunch of kids running the restaurant. What a disgrace to the town.

Overall
I went for lunch and it was quiet, the service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The menu is small and the steaks are pricey, but the wine list is quite extensive. The atmosphere was laid back , elegant & classy. A stone's throw from the Harbor. Service was top notch. I can certainly see why it draws such a large crowd for dinner.

Food
Food was way too overpriced. It came out cold and when they finally served replacements, it wasn't very good at all...especially considering the pricing.
Atmosphere
The attempt at a decent decor was good, however it was over crowded and very noisy.
Service
I personally hate restaurants that make me feel like I don't have one person waiting on me, but yet a lot of people. I also don't like this because it makes the tipping rather hard!
Value
Considering the service, atmosphere and food problems, I don't think it was a good value at all.
Overall

Food
Food was good. If you're going to try this excessively priced place, I recommend the sesame crusted tuna.
Atmosphere
Extremely loud inside.
Service
We had 8:30 reservations and finally got seated at 9:45.
Value
Everything is a la carte. Extremely overpriced. eg: A marinated shell steak was $32.95 and it came on a plate with NOTHING. However a salad is included.
Overall
Make a reservation, just don't expect to be seated on time.
