 Food

I had the Chicken Marsala. The menu stated shallots, wine and mushrooms and trust me, I know how to make this dish. Instead they give me a chicken with three small pieces of mushroom and, no joke, two pounds of onion. Yes, I said onion not shallot. How did i know it was onions? Number one: Shallots are expensive and for a 14 dollar dish I don't think it would be a wise choice to put five pounds of shallots on a plate. Two: I go to culinary school and I know the difference between an onion and an amazing shallot. I tasted no chicken or the great wine, instead it was like biting into an onion. To add the bread was stale. Don't serve bread on a table if it's not up to par.

 Atmosphere

Very nice, not too fancy but not too laid back. Very welcoming.

 Service

I would have given an 9.5 because of this reason: When I brought the onion situation up to my server she went to the chef and asked. Two seconds later she gives me the check and walks away. Yes, it's still on the check. Two seconds later she comes back and I'm like so...? She says,"Oh yeah, there were unfortunately onions. The menu is wrong." So she asks, "What do you want me to do?" Why the heck would you say that? Well, to end this it was taken off the bill. Otherwise a great server, very nice.

 Value

I feel they put the onions instead of shallots on the plate on purpose because they thought I wouldn't know the difference. Of course that makes the plate so much more profitable.

 Overall

I would come back and probably order pizza but yeah...don't order the Chicken Marsala.

Would you return?
